Cheryl Crews
WHAT I STAND FOR AS A TEACHER…
-
I believe anyone—regardless of age or experience—can learn to play the piano.
-
I believe in helping students become confident, capable performers through strong technique, posture, sight reading, musicality, and expression.
-
I believe in teaching students to appreciate music as a whole, including its history, composers, form, and style.
-
I encourage students to think independently and develop their own interpretations, rather than simply following others.
-
I believe learning piano requires dedication and hard work, and should also be fun, fostering growth, independence, and a lasting love of music.

Voice Coach
Allyson Severyn
WHAT I STAND FOR AS A TEACHER...
-
I believe that music has the ability to change lives.
-
I believe in the power of storytelling and acting through the song. It can and should be just as powerful as your voice.
-
I stand by the phrase “if its hurting you, don’t do it”. I will do all I can to help you sing from a healthy place and nurture good vocal technique.
-
I believe that everyone has the ability to match pitch (even if they don’t believe it possible) and can find confidence in their ability to sing at all levels.
-
I will continue to work as a musical theatre actor and singer so that I can remain at the top my profession and share my insights with my students.
