Dress Rehearsal: Friday June 30, 9:30am to 11:15am 

 Concert: Friday June 30, 11:30am

 

Please put all dates on your calendars now. Remember, the dress rehearsal and concert are required events!

 

Group Songs:  During class, we will learn four group songs.  There will be an opportunity for break-out solos or duets for any students who wish to have this extra moment in the spot light - all students will be encouraged to do so!  

One of the easiest ways to feel great with our voices is to be able to sing songs we love.  Thus, songs selections will be based on student choice.  During the first class I will have a few song ideas for students to pick from, but we will also be brainstorming additional song ideas together.  Please let your child know to come ready with the title of a favorite song or two!

 

Health Precautions and Masks: Masks are optional at this time.  If your child is exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or any other viral illness symptoms, please stay home. You may request a video recording if you give at least 1 hour advance notice that your child will be missing class. 

 

Student Online Resources:  If you are a new member, you will receive an additional email with instructions on how to create your login password for the MyMusicStaff Parent/Student Portal.  If you are a returning member, please take a moment to verify that you are still able to login.  

The MyMusicStaff Parent/Student Portal is a place where you can view the studio calendar  and more importantly access the Online Resources.  Your child has a designated Portal Folder in the Online Resources section that holds practice tracks and copies of lyric sheets and music used in class. It is very important that your child has access to this folder, as all of the materials are necessary for practice at home.  Please let me know asap if you have trouble logging in or cannot find the Glee Club Folder.

 

New Members: If you are new to Glee and I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting your acquaintance, please plan to walk your child to the door for the first class for a brief hello and welcome!
